Creative Toolbox started as a companion blog for my first published book, Adobe Creative Suite 2 How-Tos. This book was published five years ago. I've enjoyed to continue to contribute a few tips, thoughts, and curate content related to Adobe through out the years but as time has waned so has my general interest in just focusing on Adobe content.

That's why I've decided to create a new blog that focuses more on my interests and experiences while being a bit more personal. Enter stage left, Nudge Up. Nudge Up will be more about UX design, web design and development, random, funny and weird stuff. If any of these interest you, please feel free to follow me on Tumblr here and/or Twitter here.

I'll still post content related to Adobe and Apple but you'll find the content on Nudge Up to be more varied than just around these two topics.

For those still following Creative Toolbox, thanks for sticking with me. I hope you follow me along at Nudge Up.

ignore the code: Removing Features

This is such a good read for anyone designing or developing user experiences. I totally agree with this entire article. I can tell you
it's happened to me and now I look up and wonder how did it get this bad? If you're not sure if your app suffers from feature bloat, try running a user test on it. The results may be eye opening. Learning to say "no" is so important.
