Sphere: Related ContentIf you are any kind of real Photoshop user, you have probably come to realize the power held within the Preserve Transparency option. You might even think you are pretty cool hitting your “/” key to toggle it on a selected layer. But here is one better. While filling a layer with a foreground or background color add the Shift key within your key combination. In other words, instead of pressing just Option-Delete, press Option-Shift-Delete. This essentially turns Preserve Transparency on temporarily while you fill with the foreground or background color.
Sphere: Related ContentAdobe has posted free public betas of Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Soundbooth on Adobe Labs. All three betas sport new user interfaces that appear like the next evolution of the Creative Suite UI from CS3. These betas will work for up to two days if you don’t have a valid CS3 serial number. Otherwise they will work until the next versions are available for purchase.
Notable features of the Dreamweaver beta:
Live View — View your web pages under real-world browser conditions with the new Live View in Dreamweaver — while still retaining direct access to the code. The new rendering mode, which uses the open source rendering engine WebKit, displays your designs like a standards-based browser.
This artist set his computer to do a screen cap every 5 seconds as he worked on this piece. pretty amazing.
