So I’ve been noticing this in iCal for quite some time that you couldn’t snooze an alarm for 10 minutes. You can do 5 minutes and 15 but no 10. Sure, I’m always for cutting down on options to make things simpler but this just seemed a little odd to me. Especially when there are plenty of times when I do want to snooze something that’s roughly 10 minutes from now.
So even though this irked me somewhat I didn’t start devising my conspiracy that someone doesn’t like 10 minute increments until I revisited the Check Mail interval in Mail. Again, low and behold, no 10 minute option. Weird, huh? I guess 10 minute is just not short enough or long enough for some people.

I decided to take advantage of some open time I had this weekend and upgrade my WordPress installation to the latest version that was just released. The update went smoothly but I realized that the theme I customized my design from is really incompatible now. So I’ll be using Hemmingway until I can find a replacement for my older theme.
On the plus side, the site should feel a bit snappier since the older theme tended to bog down the site some.
Update: I found that a newer version of the older theme will work with the latest version of WordPress. So I’ve switched to this. My constant search for a better theme continues.

Adobe unveiled Photoshop Express online service today. Now you can get some of your Photoshop fix directly online. Macworld has a nice overview of the beta service. But if you want to check it out first hand, go take the Test Drive out for a spin.
