Adobe ships Creative Suite 3

cs3_familyboxshots.jpgWell, I was under the impression that CS3 wasn’t shipping until the end of this month. So it’s good to wake up today and see Adobe has released all the CS3 editions (except for the Production Suite, which will ship Q307).

Following last month’s launch, Adobe today announced the immediate availability of the highly-anticipated Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and Standard editions and Creative Suite 3 Web Premium and Standard editions.

Visit Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 section to learn more about the new features and what’s included in each edition. There’s even a handy Product Selector to help you decide which of the six editions is right for your needs.

Apple delays Leopard until October because of iPhone

Leopard

Apple has delayed release of its Leopard operating system until October because it had to divert engineering and QA resources to finish the iPhone on time.

Wow, this is rather disappointing but all the scuttlebutt going around is they weren’t close to being done. Plus some rumors have been trying to toy with our emotions by saying the delay is to put some top secret, space age features in. My guess is to bring it more in line with the iPhone user experience they demoed.
