MacBook to land at last by May…
Apple has begun manufacturing its new MacBook and should have the laptop in consumer hands in the next 30-60 days, sources report. The MacBook is being built exclusively around a 13.3-inch widescreen display.”
Looks like I may have been completely wrong about Apple keeping the iBook moniker. But it does make sense for them to roll up the 12″ PowerBook with the two flavors of iBooks into one offering where you can select the processor (Solo or Duo) and not concern yourself with the screen size.
The one really exciting tidbit of this rumor is that the MacBook’s 13.3-inch widescreen display will have a 1280×720 WXGA resolution. That alone is enough for me to part with my venerable 12″ PowerBook.
